Are you interested in getting involved in theatre, but aren’t sure how? Carousel Theatre of Indianola provides a number of ways for people who love theatre to get involved, whether you have years of experience or doing your first show!
Interested in joining the cast? We hold open call auditions multiple times a year for both musicals and plays. We are always looking for new faces to join the Carousel family on stage. Haven’t been in a show before? Don’t worry! Whether its your first show or you have years of experience, we are happy to provide an opportunity for anyone to be on stage.
Not sure you want to be on stage? No problem! For a show to run it needs plenty of volunteers behind the scenes. We are always looking for people to join our crew and help build sets, run lights and sound, build costumes, help with hair and makeup, backstage crew and more! There’s a job for everyone at every skill level.
Are you interested in helping bring a show to life as a member of the production team? We are always on the hunt for new directors, assistant directors, music directors, stage managers and choreographers! And it doesn’t stop there. Whether its a play or a musical, every show needs a strong team behind the scenes to help bring it to the stage.
Wanting to volunteer for a show, but aren’t able to be there for the rehearsal process? That’s ok! We are always in need of people to help run our front house. This includes taking and selling tickets, ushering, and running intermission refreshments. And the best part is, you get in to the show that night for free!
