Bringing theatre to our community for over 50 years.
Round 2! This past year has been difficult for theatre lovers everywhere. We are excited to announce that, as we move into our 57th season, we will be carrying over our previously scheduled shows that never got their day in the spotlight.
Season 57 will start late summer with a lighthearted and hilarious production of [title of show], featuring Molly Larche, Jay Jacobson, Michelle Vaudrin, Alex Lindsley, and directed by the ever-talented Andra Peeler-Di Marco. This fall we explore the classic who-dun-it by Agatha Christie, And Then There Were None, directed by Carousel veteran, Matt Kerns. We round out our season with two incredible musicals, Next to Normal in spring 2022, directed by Chris Williams, and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in summer 2022, directed by Shawn Pavlik.
-Carousel Theatre Board of Directors
This past year, Carousel Theatre took on a new and exciting challenge by hosting a group of five budding playwrights in our new creative endeavor, The Play-Write Project. Over the course of several months, they have met virtually, sharing ideas and cheering each-other on as they took on the daunting task of writing their own original one act plays. Final drafts are in, scripts are hot off the presses, and it’s time to hit the stage!
