AUDITIONS FOR THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES
WHEN: April 20 & 21 (call backs on the 22nd if needed)
TIME: 6:30-8:30pm
WHERE: Whittier Elementary School
WHO: Female identifying individuals. Ages 17+. Characters are seniors in high school in the first act. The second act takes place ten years later at their 10 year reunion.
Roles include;
Betty Jean (Alto): The class clown and tomboy, who often finds herself in competition with Cindy Lou and deals with relationship struggles.
Cindy Lou (Mezzo-Soprano): The attractive and confident girl who is focused on winning prom queen and often acts out when she does not get her way.
Missy (Soprano): The over-achiever and organized, bossy leader of the group who is head of the decorations committee and deeply in love with the music teacher.
Suzy (Mezzo-Alto): The happy-go-lucky, gum-chewing member who is best friends with Missy and maintains a positive, often silly attitude.
PREPARE: 16-32 bars in the style of the show. Songs from the show can be used.
