Step Back into the Spotlight with The Marvelous Wonderettes Get ready to twist, shout, and fall in love all over again! The Marvelous Wonderettes is a vibrant, nostalgic journey through the greatest hits of the 1950s and 60s, wrapped in a story of friendship that stands the test of time.
It’s 1958, and the Springfield High prom is in jeopardy. When the scheduled entertainment bows out at the last minute, four best friends—Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy—step up to save the night. Known as the “Songleaders,” these four girls bring the house down with their bubbling personalities and classic four-part harmony.
But the music doesn’t stop there. In Act II, we jump ten years forward to their 1968 high school reunion. As the skirts get shorter and the hair gets bigger, we see how the lives, loves, and dreams of these four women have changed—all told through the iconic pop anthems of the era.
