Steel Magnolias

Steel Magnolias, by Robert Harling, explores the ups and downs in the lives of six Louisiana women over the course of three years, beginning with the quickly approaching wedding of Shelby Eatenton.  Set against the backdrop of Truvy Jones’ beauty salon, we are introduced to the curmudgeon, Ouiser Boudreaux, the shy and eager new assistant, Annelle Dupuy-Desoto, the eccentric millionaire, Clairee Belcher, and the soon to be mother of the bride, M’Lynn Eatenton. A heart warming testament to the bond of friendship between women, Steel Magnolias asks audiences to question what is most important in life, and who will be there to laugh and cry beside you? Carousel Theatre is excited to be present a women lead production, from the cast on stage to the production team leading the charge. Truely a story for women, about women and by women.

Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students online ahead of time, and $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for students at the door.
